Numerical analysis and design optimization on full coverage film-cooling for turbine guided vane

Based on numerical simulations, the heat transfer and flow field of a turbine vane are analyzed film cooling is improved. The optimization objective increasing overall effectiveness with cascade pressure loss factors staying almost unchanged. Thus, cylindrical holes were replaced by laidback V-crater holes. To analyze effect structural adjustment vane, distributions, mass coefficients investigated for internal external systems. explain advantages shaped over holes, mechanisms, superposition, discharge coefficients, blow ratios, compared. Meanwhile, influence ratios mainstream Reynolds numbers was analyzed. After optimization, at design condition, increased 4.19% surface 1.78% suction surface. However, factor 0.26% only.
